Alessandro Del Mistro

On October 21, 2020, our VP, colleague, friend, and member of the Lx Sim family, Alessandro Del Mistro, passed away in Quebec City.

More than 10 years ago, he co-founded the company, returning to the entrepreneurial roots that he had developed in his earlier days as a race car driver. A tireless worker, he never missed an opportunity to share his wealth of technical experience and his understanding of company management. He excelled in business development and was a mentor to us all, as he was always ready to lend an ear. He was a true example for our young engineers.

Although he is already missed, his influence was immense and his presence will be felt for many years to come. Lx Sim will go on in his memory, drawing on the boundless energy he provided, a source of inspiration and determination.

Thank you Sandro, for all the LX Racing Team bike rides, for letting us pass when karting, for your musical suggestions, your countless delicious dishes, and your thoughtful choice of wine for team evenings.

Rest in peace, where the Jacobians and the y+ are always right…
